Claudia Piccirilli is the founder and president of Piccirilli Partners, LLC, The Project Specialists. The firm is dedicated to helping companies improve business performance through business analysis, performance improvement and practical technology solutions. In support of that goal, the firm offers a cadre of business, technology and project/portfolio management services that can be applied across a broad spectrum of industries.

Ms. Piccirilli is intimately familiar with custom development of software and implementation of a wide variety of enterprise solutions such as SAP and Oracle. She has experience with software design and implementation in many industry sectors, including, but not limited to: Manufacturing, Financial Services, Health Care, Consumer Products, and Life Sciences.
 

Ms. Piccirilli was previously a Senior Vice President of the Program Management Practice at CIGNA. In that position, she and her team developed the CIGNA Project Solutions Methodology, the CIGNA Portfolio Management Methodology, the CIGNA Project Management Career Path/Skills Assessment, and the CIGNA Quality Assurance Review Template and guide. Under her direction, CIGNA initiated its first portfolio management process for corporate-wide project decisioning and monitoring. She additionally guided the redesign and measurement setup of a series of IT service processes, such as Testing & Quality Control, Software Distribution and the Technical Architecture Design Process.

Prior to joining CIGNA, Ms. Piccirilli was responsible for business development and account leadership with United Management Technologies, serving primarily major global financial institutions in a management consulting, facilitation, portfolio management, systems integration and operations improvement capacity. Her contributions included assistance to institutions such as ABN-Amro and with an internet startup as an interim CIO.

Ms. Piccirilli served as the Senior Vice President of Financial Analysis and Operations Improvement for the Partnership Marketing Group of Bank ONE Corporation - First USA and formerly as Chief Architect. All major partnerships were analyzed under her team’s direction. Campaign setup and fulfillment process cycle time were improved by 30% under her direction, while error rates were reduced by 50%.

At JPMorgan, Ms. Piccirilli served as the Vice President in charge of Cash and Securities architecture, process and application development. This endeavor afforded her the opportunity to lead a global team of 180+ individuals through the development and implementation of a global cash/securities architecture supporting all investment transactions as JPMorgan reengineered itself into an investment bank.

Ms. Piccirilli spent 10 years at Ernst & Young as a systems integration and management consultant, starting as a Sr. Consultant and being promoted ultimately to a Senior Management position. She participated in a development and account leadership capacity. She was involved in all aspects of business process redesign and systems development. Her clients included Fortune 500 companies and major government entities at the state and federal level.
